Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
The agreement between you and SocialAI Studio. It explains what you can make with the studio, how credits, payments and API access work, who owns what you create, and what we expect from each other.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SocialAI Studio (the “Service”), operated by SocialAI Studio Inc (“we”, “us”), registered address 4 Golds Cres, Barrie, ON L4N 8R1, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer.
2. What the Service does
SocialAI Studio provides AI-powered creative tools in one workspace, including text-to-video generation, original image creation, AI-assisted writing for captions and resumes, planning helpers, tools for queueing content, and API / MCP access for developers. Output is produced by third-party AI models and can vary; we do not control or guarantee specific results.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for one person. Tell us promptly at info@socialai.website if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Credits, plans and payments
The Service uses credit-based billing. Credits are obtained through a subscription plan or a credit top-up at the prices shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Credits are reserved when a generation starts and are only charged for output that succeeds. Failed generations cost zero — reserved credits are returned to your balance.
- Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money except where required by law.
- Unused credits roll over for one month, up to 2× your plan.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds: [REFUND WINDOW]. If a refund is required by the law of your country, that law applies.
- Career Suite Bundle ($39.99/month) covers the five subscription career tools. Headshots are a separate $19.99 one-time purchase and are not included in the bundle. If you bought the bundle before headshots were removed from it, you keep the bundle terms you bought — the new bundle terms apply to new purchases only.
- We may change prices with reasonable notice. Prices already paid for your current period are not affected.
5. API use terms
API and MCP access is a paid feature of the Service. Using the API means you also agree to these API terms:
- Keys are yours to protect. Your API keys act as your account. Keep them secret, do not share or publish them, and tell us promptly at info@socialai.website if a key is exposed. You are responsible for calls made with your keys.
- API calls use credits. Every API tool call burns platform credits from your account at the same rates as the web app, and is charged only on success.
- Rate limits apply. Admins may set a per-key rate limit. If you exceed it, calls are refused until the limit resets. Do not try to work around a limit.
- Photo consent. When you supply a reference photo for image-to-video — through the studio or the API — you must confirm: “I am the person in this photo or have their written permission to use it for AI video generation.” Your confirmation is stored with your user ID, the time, and the job ID. Do not upload a photo of a real person without that consent.
- No resale of access. Do not resell, sublicense or share your API keys or your account access, and do not use the API to build a competing service that re-sells raw access to the Service.
- We may revoke keys. We may revoke or rotate a key that is abused, shared, exposed, or used in breach of these terms.
6. Your content and what you own
You keep ownership of the material you upload (prompts, text, images, video) and of the content you generate with the Service. We do not claim ownership of it.
- You give us a limited licence to process, store and display that material only as needed to provide the Service to you — for example to run a generation, save your gallery, or deliver a post you queued.
- You confirm you have the rights you need to the material you upload and to the output you publish, and you are responsible for how you use it.
- AI output can be similar to content created by other people. Review anything before you publish it, especially for commercial use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or help someone else do so;
- create content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, hateful or discriminatory;
- create, promote or request content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors;
- impersonate a real person, or create realistic media of a real person without their consent;
- upload a photo of a real person for video generation without confirming you are that person or have their written permission — when you supply a reference photo you must confirm this (your confirmation is stored with the job);
- infringe someone’s copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity or other rights, or mislead people about who made a piece of content;
- upload malware, attempt to probe, break or overload the Service, or scrape it without permission;
- access the Service through automated means other than the API / MCP access we provide for that purpose;
- abuse the credit system, for example by deliberately triggering failures to recover credits or by sharing an account to multiply a balance.
8. Suspension and termination
We can warn, limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that abuses the Service, or that puts other users, third parties or the Service at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can close your account at any time; when you do, unused credits expire unless the law of your country says otherwise.
9. Service availability and changes
We keep working to improve the Service. We may add, change or remove features, models and tools, and some features may be limited or unavailable in your region or for a time. In the scheduler, Discord posts publish directly through your connected webhook; every other platform is download & share — you download your finished post and share it in that platform’s own app. We cannot promise uninterrupted access.
10. Disclaimers
The Service and everything it produces are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that output will be accurate, original or suitable for your purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost content or lost earnings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or the value of your active credits, whichever is greater). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. [Dispute resolution process — owner to supply.]
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service grows. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will notify you by email or in the app where we reasonably can. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
